Your new surroundings, bedroomand office look nice. The two dogs look awesome, too. I hope you are safe from snakes, though. I went out for a walk last night, and say a little baby snake on the sidewalk. It scared the crap out of me, becaue I assumed it was a baby version of a very dangerous sort of snake. I also imagined that it's mom snake was nearby. Anyway, arm yourself. Just in case.
Bryan - There are actually 7 dogs total. And they're all awesome. As for snakes, yesterday I was being nosy and going through the cabin next to mine (it's empty, but there's furniture in there) and in one of the dresser drawers, I found a huge wad of shed snake skin. Needless to say, I totally freaked out and got out of there. But now all I can think about is stepping on snakes, or having them drop on me while I sleep.
Mandy - I'm actually enjoying it okay. Except for a filthy bedroom, it's not really too stripped down. My phone doesn't work, and there's no AC, but I have the internet and running water. Which is about as stripped-down as I like to get. But so far it's okay. Ask me again in about 7 weeks.

I like it! How are you enjoying your new stripped-down lifestyle? I miss going to camp every summer.

Holy crapola. That place hasn't changed in 20 years. It's exactly how I remember it. Especially Jason Vorhees still haunting the waters.
