I learned today that there is a big difference between "tengo mucho hambre" and "tengo mucho hombre."
The first one means "I am very hungry." The second one means, basically, "I have many men." Although literally, it's "I have many man," it's still embarassing.

At a fair in Oaxaca, I asked a girl "Donde esta un puesto con chavos?" which means "Where is a food stall with boys?" When I meant to say "Donde esta un puesto con churros?" Which means "Where is a food stall with yummy fried things smothered in cinnamon and sugar."
I also mixed up:
jabon (soap) with cabron (bastard)
estucha (glasses case) with estufa (stove)
Meredith makes me laugh. I want to know where a food stall with boys is!!!!!!!
speaking of a food stall with boys, dude, Mexican men are hot!
and Matt, yes, both are usually true.
That's why I married one!
